What Can I You We Do?
The only way we can achieve our goals is through combined effort. Find out below how you could help.
Ways You Could Assist
We want to express our deep gratitude for your generosity and support. However, we find ourselves in a situation of being overwhelmed with donations at the moment. Unfortunately, we have exhausted our storage capacity. Consequently, we are unable to accept any further donations of fabric, bed linen, or towels at this time. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Sewing
If sewing is your passion, consider becoming part of our community by crafting children's attire, including dresses, skirts, shirts, shorts, and any other garments that ignite your creativity.
Knitting or Crochet
Perhaps your passion lies in knitting or crocheting. Your skills in these crafts can be a source of warmth and comfort for children in need. Consider using your expertise to create various clothing items and provide much-needed solace to them.
Gift Supplies
We apologize, but at this time, we are unable to accept additional fabric or towels.
Cutting Fabric
If you're not into sewing, knitting, crocheting, or quilting, you can still make a valuable contribution by cutting fabric pieces (using provided pattern templates). These will be transformed by skilled sewists in our group into stunning children's clothing.
Brand Ambassador
A Rags to Riches Brand Ambassador is an individual who generously volunteers to carry clothing, Angel Wings© kits, and other essential items with them during their journeys to orphanages and underserved communities in various countries around the globe.
Quilting
Use your quilting expertise to bring smiles and comfort to children in hospitals and orphanages. Your passion and mastery of quilting can be channeled into crafting exquisite and cherished quilts that will be distributed to orphanages and hospitals in need.
Angel Wings ©
Join our committed team and contribute to the creation of reusable sanitary pads for young women worldwide. There are numerous opportunities to assist at different stages of this continuous project, including cutting fabric, sewing, sorting, and packaging kits. Your involvement can make a significant impact.
Important Information
It is not necessary to attend any meetups. You are welcome to sew, knit, crochet or cut fabric in your own time and at your leisure, and then send what you’ve made over to us to distribute where it’s needed.
We do not collect pre-loved clothing, ready-made or store-bought clothing, furniture or food items.
Please make sure that the fabric, bed linen and curtains used to make any items are clean and stain-free.
